What is Synapse?
Synapse is an AI-powered meeting companion that provides automated transcription, summarisation and deep insights for your corporate discussions. Rather than relying on manual note-taking, Synapse captures the dialogue and securely processes it to deliver comprehensive post-meeting deliverables to both the organiser and the attendees. It features a ChatGPT-style interface right within the MeetWise portal, allowing users to search past meetings and ask questions to generate intelligent summaries.
How does Synapse work?
Synapse is designed to integrate seamlessly into your existing workflow:
- Booking integration — the module appears as an optional feature when booking a new meeting.
- Automated link management — a recording link is sent directly to the organiser via a dedicated Synapse email template. It activates 5 minutes before the scheduled start time, automatically expires when the meeting concludes, and is disabled if the meeting is cancelled.
- Recording controls — organisers can access the recording experience on any device via a secure MeetWise web link, with full control to start, stop, pause or resume. The system automatically stops recording when the meeting ends.
- Secure processing — all audio is uploaded securely to MeetWise cloud servers, fully encrypted both at rest and in transit.
What features does it deliver?
Synapse goes beyond simple transcription, offering an array of deliverables and interactive tools:
- Comprehensive deliverables — after a meeting, the organiser and attendees receive a meeting summary, an audio recording link, full transcription, translation, a breakdown of details discussed, sentiments expressed, a list of identified attendees, and additional AI-generated metadata.
- Synapse AI chat — a dedicated tab in the MeetWise portal offers AI-based search and Q&A. This ChatGPT-style interface is restricted to authenticated users who were listed as invited attendees, and is strictly scoped to the meetings the logged-in user attended.
- Future enhancements — upcoming features include speaker labelling using voice biometrics, calendar integration for smart scheduling, custom tagging with action-item extraction, and multilingual chat support for transcripts.
Licensing & pricing
Synapse is managed centrally through the MeetWise Admin Portal. The module is licensed per tenant, offering flexible limits based on either the total number of recording minutes or the total number of meetings permitted to be recorded.
